Collection of Demurrage, etc. for Calculation of Remittable Surplus

FE Circular No. 43 of December 14, 2017 states that demurrage, detention, handling, or equivalent charges of foreign shipping lines/agents in Bangladesh are considered for calculating surplus remittable earnings, subject to deduction of taxes and commission. Charges collected before the financial year 2017-18 can be included by showing them in a supplementary statement and the revised App-5/34. Other relevant instructions remain unchanged.
