Appointing audit firms for bank and finance company audits

DBI-3 Circular Letter No. 02
BB issued a circular stating that 39 CA firms are eligible to audit Banks and Finance Companies. If the registration of an audit firm’s engagement partner is revoked by the FRC, the respective Bank or Finance Company must immediately cease engagement with that partner and appoint another registered partner from the same firm. This directive is effective immediately and follows the relevant financial and company acts.
