Amendment of S.R.O. No. 70-Act/2023/211-Mushak

The Government amends S.R.O. No. 70-Act/2023/211-Mushak under section 126(1) of the VAT and SD Act, 2012, to:
(a) Replace “total supplementary duty levied” with “an additional supplementary duty of 10%.”
(b) Specify that verified complaints under Clause (6) will result in action per relevant provisions, including collecting duties, taxes, and addressing concession abuse and also action shall be taken as per provisions of Serial No. 8 of the Table of Sub-section (1) of Section 171 of the Customs Act, 2023. These changes are effective immediately.
