Identification of Limited Company as per The Companies (2nd Amendment) Act, 2020

BRPD Circular No. 4
– The Companies (Second Amendment) Act, 2020 added section 11A to the Companies Act, 1994, which requires public limited liability bank-companies in Bangladesh to add “Public Limited Company” or “PLC” to the end of their names.
– To comply, bank-companies must change their names and memorandums, and obtain no-objection from Bangladesh Bank under Sections 116 and 117 of the Bank-Company Act, 1991
