Maintenance of bank accounts abroad and deposits therein

The ADs in BD to permit applicants for immigration to open bank accounts and deposit funds in the destination countries prior to securing their visas. ADs are required to obtain supporting documentation, ensure that the remitted funds do not exceed specified limits, and confirm that the accounts remain inactive until the applicants leave the country.
