Outward Remittances on Account of Software Maintenance or Support Fees
Authorized Dealers (ADs) in Bangladesh are now authorized to process remittances for software maintenance/support fees without first-time approval from the Bangladesh Bank, as long as certain conditions are met. ADs must ensure legitimate licenses, valid agreements, invoice support, and compliance with tax regulations, and obtain undertakings from remitters.
