Repayment or adjustment of loans of borrowers affected by recent floods

BB has issued directives to finance companies to support borrowers affected by recent floods. Borrowers in the agriculture and CMSME sectors with loans due between August and October 2024 are granted a three-month extension for repayment and loan adjustment, with no additional penalties. The finance companies must verify whether the borrowers are genuinely impacted by the floods.
