Travel tax on international travel

From 1 July 2014, the rule of tax on traveling to abroad, 2004 is revoked and, following new rules will be applied. Travelling by air:
- Taka 4,000 of travel tax will be charged to the traveller who travels to the countries listed in point 2 (Ka).
- Taka 1,200 will be charged as travel tax who travel to a SARC listed country.
- Travelers who travel to any other country except those listed in points (Ka) & (Kha) will be charged Taka 3,000 as travel tax.
- Travelling by water transportation: Taka 800 will be charged as travel tax to every person who travels to any country in this way.
- Travelling by land transportation: Taka 500 will be charged as travel tax to every person who travels to any country by this way.
