Import transactions under usance terms

Imports of essential food items like rice, wheat, onions, and others on usance terms (up to 90 days) under supplier’s/buyer’s credit during Ramadan to maintain reasonable prices and smooth supply. This decision is in line with paragraph 33(a) of the GFET-2018, Vol-1. The circular is effective until March 31, 2025, and other relevant instructions remain unchanged.
